Our community initiatives focus on education, mentorship, outreach, and service. Some of our outreach and service initiatives has included providing fans and space heaters to the community, turkey drive, shoe drive, feeding the homeless, and sending students to various leadership camps in North Carolina and out of state. These programs address real needs by providing resources, guidance, and encouragement to individuals and families striving for growth and stability. Each initiative is designed to create lasting impact and foster a spirit of unity, leadership, and service.
A key part of this mission is our Scholarship Fund. As the cost of education continues to rise, many talented and motivated students face financial barriers that threaten their ability to pursue higher education or vocational training. Scholarships made possible through generous donations help relieve these burdens, allowing students to focus on their academic goals and personal development. Over the past three years PLECF has been able to support over thirty students including providing over $35,000.00 in scholarship donations.
